Mobile2Web℠ is committed to safeguarding your privacy.  This Privacy Statement outlines our privacy policy.  This statement may change from time to time so please check back periodically.  We will notify you directly if there is a material change in our privacy practices.   We will take commercially reasonable measures to obtain written or active email consent from the user if Mobile2Web is going to be using the information collected from the user in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection.  We will also post the changes in our privacy statement 30 days prior to a change.

Mobile2Web explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you.  To register, Mobile2Web asks for your name, email address, and wireless phone's number and email address.  We ask only for information required to provide Mobile2Web services.

When you submit personal information, you are sharing it with Mobile2Web alone.   Personal information is stored in secure operating environments not available to the public.  Mobile2Web keeps your personal information private and does not disclose it otherwise than as outlined within this privacy policy.

Your account information is password-protected so only you have access to it.  Do not divulge your password to anyone.  Mobile2Web will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email.   Sign out of your account and close your browser when you finish so others cannot access your personal information.

You may edit your account at this site at any time using your Mobile2Web user name and password.  Your Mobile2Web account can be cancelled, but this will stop your Mobile2Web services.  Residual information remains in our archive records.

Mobile2Web gathers anonymous usage information,which may be shared with others.   This information does not personally identify you, and may be helpful in improving services.  This type of information includes average number of messages per user, average length of messages, etc.

Mobile2Web also provides email links on our website to allow you to contact us directly with any questions or comments you may have.  We read every message sent in and try to reply promptly to every one.  This information is used to respond directly to your questions or comments.   We may also file your comments to improve the site and service, or review and discard the information.  Your personal information is only shared with third parties with your explicit permission.

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement.  For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email.  Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account.  However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
